My ThetaHealing® Journey

Do you want to know "The Secret"?
I have been introduced to the Law of Attraction back in 2007 and since then have read numerous materials about "The Secret" and Quantum Physics. I have to admit I stumbled upon this universal law when I joined a network marketing company in the hopes of becoming an entrepreneur. Long story short, that didn't work out for me.

Although I walked out on my entrepreneurial dream then with a not-so-happy ending, I am thankful for that chapter in my life. I think the network marketing business started what I would call my 'spiritual journey'. Without it, I wouldn't even have heard of the Law of Attraction! Since then,  I started to shift my thinking to filter out negative thoughts and only put my energy into things that serve me. I have manifested certain things with the techniques I have followed -- a new phone, a new bag, a job. These manifestations made me believe that achieving my desires is indeed possible.

The Sock Drawer
Despite all the techniques that I followed to make the Law of Attraction work in my life, it came to a point where it felt like thinking positive thoughts all day became a chore. Moreover, I felt that sometimes I am lying to myself when I say "of course this is going to happen for me" when I know that deep inside, I'm really thinking "I don't think I'm good enough for this." I then realized that the mind is like a sock drawer (yes, for some reason that was the illustration that resonated with me). Imagine a drawer full of rolled up pairs of socks. No matter how many times you put in a new pair - prettier socks, more colorful socks, newer socks - there are socks in the drawer that you don't use, that are faded, that have holes... but you keep them anyway!

In the same way, I realized that my mind is holding on to certain thoughts, memories and beliefs that hinder me from manifesting, especially the bigger things that I want. And if all I do is fill my mind with positive thoughts, it doesn't change the fact that there are still thoughts, memories and beliefs in my mind that do not serve me but are still in my mind anyway.

I then stumbled upon a material on Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), a technique that uses a series of tapping exercises in order to bring negative feelings to the surface and gradually release them. I read up on EFT and followed the tapping exercises in the books. However, something was still missing.

The Missing Piece
I have always loved being a student. You could probably tell from this short narrative how much of a geek I could become when I find things I am interested in. While I have been learning so much through the years of reading and reading on these "mind stuff," I couldn't help but wish that there's an actual class or workshop here in the Philippines where I can learn all these things experientially - you know, the classroom-and-teacher kind of setup.

One day, I was chatting with a friend over lunch about the Law of Attraction, and she introduced me to this thing called ThetaHealing®. She has been taking up the courses for a few months then. She sent me links to articles and videos and websites about ThetaHealing®, and that's when I got all excited and explored the possibility of attending the classes. I took my first ever ThetaHealing® course in May 2013.

The Paradigm Shift
I don't recall where or when or how it started, but I can surely say that my life has shifted so much since I took my first ThetaHealing® class. I had better control of my thoughts, thus having more control over my experiences. I treated each person and experience in my life as a blessing, and therefore life has been "very good" to me. Most importantly, I found my life's calling -- to become a ThetaHealing® practitioner.

My main goal in creating this blog is to share to you bit by bit how ThetaHealing® has shifted my life, all for the highest and best. I do hope that this serves as an inspiration to the world, not only to come and experience ThetaHealing®, but more importantly to raise awareness that truly, there is an enlightened way to live the life of your dreams!
